Current Tech Hubs

Brainport Industries

The leading 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-tier High Tech suppliers in the Netherlands together form the unique High Tech ecosystem Brainport Industries. The goal is to 'connect' suppliers in these High Tech chains, collectively enhance the chain's professionalism, and increase competitiveness.

International OEMs engaged in high mix, low volume, high complexity machinery increasingly outsource the development and engineering, in addition to the manufacturing of components, sub-assemblies, and larger non-core submodules, to strategic suppliers in the High Tech manufacturing industry. They ask suppliers to take full responsibility for these modules, including development. Suppliers are pushing their boundaries in response to this shift: in terms of manufacturability, responsibilities, and even exploring new international markets.

Brainport Industries offers fertile ground and structure for this collaboration in projects focused on technology, market, and people. It is an environment where a constant stream of knowledge workers and professionals enables Dutch suppliers to increase their turnover and develop into market leaders.

Flam3D

Flam3D was founded in June 2015 by KULeuven, Materialise, RS Print, Sirris, T&M Solutions, Tenco DDM, UGent, Vamac, and Xeikon Prepress, with the support of the Flemish Agency for Enterprise & Innovation.

Since the start of our activities on October 1, 2015, various companies and organizations have joined our platform. All these organizations represent almost the entire 3D ecosystem: suppliers, manufacturers, service providers, manufacturing companies applying additive or hybrid manufacturing, schools, and research institutions. See who our members are here.

Flam3D is a division of SIM Flanders. Flam3D is independent, and the members are represented in the steering group, which guides the organization's content. Contact us for more information or to get in touch with the steering group members. Members can apply to join the steering group.

KOP / MRE

Collaboration is in the blood of entrepreneurs in the Kempen region. On a local level, entrepreneurs have been working together for years, advocating common interests in four business associations: IGE (Eersel), OBGB (Bladel), OVBRM (Reusel-De Mierden), and POB (Bergeijk). Since the end of 2005, these four organizations have joined forces on a Kempisch level within the Kempisch Entrepreneurs Platform (KOP). Each business association is represented on the KOP board, ensuring local interests are safeguarded.

Since its inception, KOP has been actively involved in many economic developments in the Brabantse Kempen, such as the Kempisch Business Park (KBP) and various Kempisch action programs and regional development initiatives.

Additionally, the ISK association (Inkoop Samenwerking de Kempen) was established on the initiative of the four business associations. ISK achieves purchasing advantages through joint procurement. All members can benefit from this, including energy procurement and training courses.
