Collaboration between Dutch TechZone and Tech2B: Strengthening Regional Procurement and Networking in the Industry

In a joint effort to strengthen the regional economy, Dutch TechZone and the Collaborative Business Associations have launched a new project in partnership with Tech2B. This project aims to enhance regional procurement and networking within the manufacturing industry in the regions of Borger-Odoorn, Coevorden, Emmen, Hardenberg, and Hoogeveen

This initiative originated from a study conducted by students from Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, which highlighted the importance of a regional procurement platform. The research revealed that companies in the region need a more efficient way to find local suppliers and partners, as well as opportunities to attract new orders from outside the region. This led to the decision to collaborate with Tech2B.

Tech2B offers an innovative platform that allows companies to quickly and efficiently discover regional suppliers and enhance procurement opportunities without third-party intervention. The platform is designed not only to save time and costs but also to support the local economy by promoting regional trade.

Local Companies within the Dutch TechZone Region

During the project, companies in each municipality within the Dutch TechZone can utilize the platform. Companies can find specialists in the region or post requests, making reshoring more accessible. Reshoring leverages the local expertise and opportunities of suppliers in the manufacturing industry.
