ACE: “Tech2B makes our work much easier”

Frank Steeghs and Roel van Hal work at ACE Engineering Office. What does ACE do?

Frank explains: “ACE is an engineering firm that solves technical challenges for customers, ranging from product development in the precision engineering industry to large structures. We are a one-stop-shop for our customers, but because we do not produce ourselves and are mainly mechanically oriented, we need partners for this. For example, within product development we work together with Bestronics for the final production of the electronics, through them we ended up at Tech2B. And we are grateful to them for that.”

Roel continues: “People who respond to our requests on the Tech2B platform usually also have the time to help you. You used to be kept on the line for a long time, via Tech2B I had 8-10 responses to a simple request within a week. Companies are very proactive on the platform, which sometimes takes a little more time, but it also yields a lot.”

You can also get in touch with companies through them to make a prototype.”

Roel agrees: “We also have to be able to switch quickly towards our customers, we should not bother them with looking for suppliers. Tech2B really helps us this way, it is also much more accessible for smaller companies. Big companies usually occupy the spots at the top of Google because they can do good marketing.”
